Thompson Medical Group in Peoria, Arizona, offers high-quality care to adults of all ages. Board-certified and fellowship-trained internal medicine physician E. Leon Thompson, DO, and his colleagues specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and geriatric disorders, including memory loss.

Patients at Thompson Medical Group benefit from comprehensive chronic disease management for long-term health problems. The internal medicine practice provides expert care to patients living with more than one chronic condition, understanding the challenges comorbidities cause.

In-office lab tests, ear lavages, ankle-brachial index (ABI) procedures (to evaluate blood flow in the legs), and pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are available at Thompson Medical Group. Patients with allergy symptoms can take advantage of on-site testing and allergy shots, and the practice supplies breathing treatments for patients with lung disorders.

For those suffering from musculoskeletal diseases and injuries, joint injections and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy offer relief from pain and improved function. He pays close attention to your medical history and will sometimes call you back three weeks later and order more test just to be safe. He pays close attention to you and he knows medicine.
